5.1-degree quake shook the country

A 5.1-degree earthqauke shook the country on Tuesday night, according to a report by the National Seismological Network.

The earthquake occurred 9 km east of Río Naranjo de Bagaces, in the province of Guanacaste.

According to preliminary reports from neighbors in the area, it was a very strong quake.
