The Costa Rican Institute of Aqueducts and Sewers (AyA) reported that a total of 5,000 people were affected by the damage in a main pipe of 200 millimeters in Desamparados.

The residents of La Capri neighborhood, San Martín, San Miguel and surrounding sectors, will be affected by this incident.
