Alejandro Vega, coordinator of the activity, declared that in the event students from all areas involved: preschool, state and private schools. The projects range from science, engineering and art.

Computer languages, electronics, architectural drawings, graphics and audiovisuals, construction solutions for problems or disability, are part of the innovative proposals. Students were organized into groups of 3 people.

We will evaluate the projects during the weekend and they will be awarded within 15 days, because there are so many projects that we need more time to evaluate them,

stated Vega.

Among the awards, winners will have the opportunity to participate in national and international events. There are also material awards, scholarships and training.

Expotec is open to the public for free, from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. Visitors will be offered food services and parking.

Thanks to this exhibition, students have been able to represent Costa Rica in various international competitions of science and technology in the United States, Brazil and Mexico and they have won scholarships and patents for their projects.
