Visit the National Fair of Financial Education

On October 3st, 2016, from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm, the National Fair of Financial Education will take place and people will receive lectures on how to manage their money and enjoy different activities.

The activity will take place in Juan Rafael Mora Park. There people will find different banks’ stands, as well as sporting races, stilt walkers and shows with national artists.

Executive director of the Chamber of Banks and Financial Institutions Annabelle Ortega declared that that the fair will provide tips and advice to all visitors about the importance of saving. There will also be information regarding the services and products offered by the Financial system and how to make proper use of them.

The activity has been conducted since 2010 and it has the participation of banks and financial institutions, regulatory agencies such as the Central Bank, the National Council of Financial System Supervision (CONASSIF) and the Superintendences of Costa Rica that are committed to education and financial inclusion of the population.
