The Municipality of Desamparados joins the celebration of the 154 years of the canton with a great number of free activities for the whole family. These activities will take place in la Villa Deportiva de Desamparados and the Centennial Park (central park of Desamparados). They include concerts, races, arts and sports activities. They will be held from October 30th to November 6th.

Among the activities to be carried out, there is a night hike on November 5th, from 6 pm to 7 pm. It will be from Soda Yogi (Gravilias) to Desamparados center and it will finish with a dance concert at Centennial Park.

Those who plan to attend this march must wear pink or light color, in addition, they must carry a pink lantern or a candle to symbolize the struggle and hope for cancer patients.
