A man allegedly raped his 14-year-old daughter 13 years ago

November 3, 2016 by Staff News Writer

Almost 13 years after the apparent crime, a parent will be 6 months in detention on suspicion of raping his daughter.

The event occurred in 2003 in a house located in Oreamuno de Cartago. By then, the victim was 14 years old and due to the alleged violations, the child had a baby. The man was arrested in the United States. The extradition request was not necessary because the suspect was deported since he had an irregular migratory situation.

The subject arrived in the country on November 1st and he was arrested by Interpol officials, who sent him to San José’s Courts of Justice cells.

The suspect is prosecuted for the apparent crime of rape.
