November 4, 2016 by Staff News Writer

The National Highway Council (CONAVI) and the Ministry of Public Works (MOPT) reported that this weekend they will be conducting base stabilization procedures near Bridge Paracito, which will require to close the new structure.

According to engineer Silvia Gómez, from Roads and Bridges Construction Management, the new structure will be closed from 6:00 a.m. on Saturday until Sunday night.

Gómez added that drivers may use this bridge from Monday morning.

Motorcyclists are reminded that the traffic light at the site continues to work while completing the project. Additionally, they are encouraged to respect the road signs in place in order to keep security measures.

The alternatives routes are National Route No. 307 that connects Paracito with San Isidro de Coronado and Route No. 32 near the crossing San Miguel de Santo Domingo de Heredia.
