Finally! You can call to check if you have restrictions to leave the country

November 9, 2016 by Staff News Writer

Everybody can now check whether they have restrictions to leave the country or not by calling and giving the identity number to the judicial employee who picks up the call.

The service was enabled in the Judicial Register to prevent inconveniences for alimony and criminal causes when trying to leave the country.

The numbers are 2295-3648 or 2295-3649, which are enabled from Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

According to the Chief of the Judicial Registry, Itzia Araya GarcĂa, the institution works to extend the consultation mechanisms, which users must be aware of, to know with certainty their legal status on the issue of impediments to leave Costa Rica.
