Desamparados is being signposted!

The Municipality of Desamparados is signposting several sectors of the canton. The work has focused on horizontal and vertical signs to improve road safety in troubled places.

Among the benefited sectors there are the pedestrian crossing from Fátima to Patarrá, the advanced stop line alongside Plaza de Gravilias and Sector 2 (Ebais) and the advanced stop line and arrow lines of Los Guido.

According to Gilberth Jiménez, mayor of Desamparados, this work was made due to the need for security and hopefully it will be gradually extended throughout the canton.

During this week, authorities are working on the signposting of Gravilias street and Dos Cercas main street.

In addition, users are informed that once the signposting is completed, signs will be posted in the following sectors: Roberto Gamboa High School, Elías Jiménez School and La Unión Street, Villa Nueva Urbanization, Las Cascadas Residencial area, Encinales Higuito, Naranjo Street, Lomas (San Miguel), Las Mandarinas urbanization in Los Guido, and Purosales urbanization (Fallas street).
