In addition, by 2017, 130 other schools are expected to have this technology, which aims to improve the educational experience of the student population.

On Friday, the Ministry of Public Education (MEP) boasted about the results of the investment of more than 800 million colones, which enables faster Internet connection.

Sonia Marta Mora, Minister of Education, said that in 2014, only 11 sites had this technology. Currently, the figure rises to 212.

Mora also indicated that the plan includes regions outside the capital, such as Talamanca and Chira Island.

This is a change, a definite change, because teachers and students will work with first world technology, using complex materials fir the educational process,”
