“Yo me uno” will help victims of Otto

November 24, 2016 by Staff News Writer

An initiative seeks to work with Club de los Leones and reach people affected by Tropical Storm Otto, which would impact more strongly from Thursday in the country.

The Association launched a campaign to collect funds to help the affected communities and seek cooperation.

The collection will be done through the platform yomeuno.com and funds will be used to buy food, toiletries and repair damaged homes.

The site belongs to BAC San José. However it is not necessary to have an account with that bank to help.

The collection will run for 5 days and aims to raise at least 10 million colones.
