Costa Rica will hold the World Robotics Olympiad in 2017

Costa Rica will host the World Robotics Olympiad in 2017. The event will be organized by the Ministry of Science, Technology and Telecommunications (MICITT) in conjunction with Learning by Doing.

Alejandra Sánchez, from Learning by Doing, informed about the event and pointed out that it will be held from November 10th and November 12th, 2017 and it will include 60 nations.

More than 3,000 people will come to our country to participate, it will be a huge event.

This weekend, the 13th World Robotics Olympiad was held in India.

According to Sánchez, Costa Rican participants are children from 9 years old to young adults of 25 years old.

This time, participants must design a robot to solve the challenge of reducing, recycling and managing waste.
