Remember: there will be night-time closures in Pozuelo

November 29, 2016 by Staff News Writer

During this week, the crossing between Pozuelo and Jardines del Recuerdo will be closed from 10:00 pm to 4:00 am due to asphaltic works that will be conducted until December 3rd.

Gustavo Morera, an engineer at the National Road Safety Council (CONAVI) informed that the dynamic will be repeated if and when the rain conditions don’t prevent the hot material placement.

The nearest alternative route is General Cañas road. If you are coming from San José, you must continue to Juan Pablo II bridge until the crossing with Castella Conservatory. If you are coming from Heredia, you should take Lagunilla (in La Valencia) to reach General Cañas road.

This project (two bridges and a road widening) costs $ 8.6 million (about 4,650 million colones).
