Epsy Campbell: “condemning the PAC is a wake-up call”

December 6, 2016 by Staff News Writer

Legislator Epsy Campbell from Acción Ciudadana Party (PAC), stated that condemning the political group before the Supreme Electoral Court (TSE) for the crime of major fraud is a “wake-up call”.

The legislator said that the party accepted the sentence with responsibility, but she added:

we are certain that the convicted people were not interested in having any personal benefits.

She assured that the PAC has safeguarded the funds to face the sentence and it has also made great efforts to have improvements in the party’s internal control.
