Science and Technology Championship summoned 50 young people

A total of 50 young people gathered in the Championship of Science and Technology, which started on Monday and will run until Friday December 9th.

The championship organized by the Ministry of Science, Technology and Telecommunications (MICITT), takes place at headquarters of Continuing Education in the City of Research at the University of Costa Rica (UCR) in San Pedro.

Among the activities to be developed are lectures, workshops, laboratories on properties and behavior of light, origin of the universe, solar energy, genetics, DNA extraction, robotics, and sustainable energy, among others.

Participants will also be able to assist in the construction of a third generation solar cell and experiments on interference, absorption and luminescence phenomena.

These activities invite young people who are interested in science and technology.
