RECOPE and CNPCI will end their business agreement

December 16, 2016 by Staff News Writer

The Costa Rican Oil Refinery (RECOPE) presented its annual report and provided information on its recent businesses.

In the event, the institution confirmed that there will be a meeting between RECOPE and the Chinese National Corporation of International Petroleum (CNPCI) officials, in which the link established in the Chinese-Costa Rican Society(SORESCO) will be ended.

This society aimed to promote the modernization of Moín refinery. However, by an order from the Comptroller General of the Republic (CGR), due to irregularities in the feasibility study, the project wasn’t developed since 2013.
