HSJD won’t start an investigation against the nurse who was drinking beer during working hours

January 5, 2017 by Staff News Writer

San Juan de Dios Hospital (HSJD) will not start an investigation against the Nursing Service official who was recorded drinking beer at working hours, inside the hospital facilities, on December 24th, 2016.

The Directorate of Nursing and the Legal Counsel determined that the investigation process should be conducted by the Center on Educational and Administrative Procedures (CIPA) from the Costa Rican Social Security Fund (CCSS), for being a foreign institution to the hospital.

The sanction will be the one that corresponds according to the evidence. At the moment, the official is working as usual.
