Escazú, Alajuelita and Desamparados will have no water on Monday

The Costa Rican Institute of Aqueducts and Sewers (AyA) announced that the cantons of Escazú, Alajuelita and Desamparados will suffer an interruption of the water service on Monday.

The suspension will be from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., while performing interconnection work with 300 mm pipes on Bermúdez River.

The areas to be affected in Escazú are Trejos Montealegre, San Rafael, Bajo Los Anonos, Los Eliseos, Calle Los Alemanes, Altos de Bello Horizonte and Barrio Los Angeles.

Furthermore, in Alajuelita the service will be suspended in the central area, in San Felipe, La Aurora, Tejarcillos, San Josecito, Calle El Alto, Concepción, El Tejar and others.

Meanwhile, in Desamparados the affected communities are Novedades, Alpino, Méndez, Los Angeles, Santa Cecilia, Tolima, Maiquetía and San Juan de Dios.
