App My Route. Taken Aresep in your Facebook account.

In the past two months, the Regulatory Authority for Public Services (Aresep) has allocated 87 million colones ($176,470) to an advertising campaign to publicize the mobile app My Mi Ruta. With this app, users can check official rates for public bus and train, and also report violations on routes that are regulated by ARESEP.

Since December, advertising can be seen in print media and on bus shelters, which are known as “Mupis”. Application downloads to date are 7,063 in Google Play and 10,677 in the Apple Appstore.
