January 31, 2017 by Staff News Writer

A 32-year-old man surnamed Mora Monge, suspected of running over four cyclists, killing three of them and fled the scene, was released.

The Criminal Court of the Second Judicial Circuit decided so on January 30th after imposing precautionary measures as an impediment to exit, signing every 15 days and not driving, as well as handing over his passport and license and not changing his address. The measures were requested by the Operative Unit and the Functional Directorate of the Public Ministry. The man is suspected of three manslaughters and one personal injury crime.
