Where can lovebirds fly on February 14th?

February 6, 2017 by Staff News Writer

February is used by many couples and groups of friends to stroll in national and international destinations.

According to Roberto Brenes, travel consultant, the destinations depend on the time available, as well as on people’s personalities.

In Costa Rica, many people usually want the mountains as destinations, so they look for sites where they can relax or combine leisure time with adventure activities of the area.

Monteverde, for example, is a mountain destination and it has great hotels; it also allows people to have contact with a variety of flora and fauna of the area,

declared Brenes.

La Fortuna de San Carlos is often one of the most appealing destinations for lovers, so occupancy of hotels tend to increase during this date.

Regarding destinations on the coast, beaches at northern Guanacaste are the most desirable.

In addition, many people take advantage of catamaran trips, since some destinations such as Isla Tortuga, are often very attractive and their are different tourist packages for this date, which include transportation, lodging, food and even dinners on the beach under the Moon light.

The peace that tourists experience in this type of destinations is greater when compared to beaches like Cancún or Punta Cana, that’s the reason why they turn into attractive places for those who want to spend a romantic date,

emphasized Brenes
