180 educational centers are promised for 2017

On February 6th, 947 thousand children and young people returned to the classrooms for the 2017 academic year. This Sunday, the government highlighted that situation on national television.

For this year, the Ministry of Education announced the delivery of 180 new or refurbished schools throughout Costa Rica, to allow better conditions for students.

Our work for education is a commitment that we take with responsibility, to provide families and communities the necessary tools for their children to have the best of Costa Rica conditions,

said Minister Sonia Marta Mora .

In addition, there are about 800 schools been developed to be delivered in 2018.

President Luis Guillermo SolĂ­s stressed that his administration has invested about 191 billion colones in education, which includes improving the quality of internet connection in at least 800 schools. This improvement will reach another 400 schools during this administration.
