Crocodile attack in Jacó

At 5:52 p.m., the Fire Department received a call for a crocodile attack. The event occurred in Jacó, 300 meters north of La Esquina soda.

According to the Fire Department, “Garabito station’s unit 46… found a 55-year-old man with injuries to his left leg as a result of a crocodile attack… Red Cross staff took care of the patient and transferred him to the medical center in stable condition , while Firefighters took care of the animal, ” said the institution.

This is the ninth crocodile attack on humans in 2017.
