February 23, 2017 by Staff News Writer

The canton of Desamparados joined the initiative of smart parking meters, which allow to make electronic payments through a mobile application.

The app, called Parso, facilitates the payment of municipal parking spaces from a smartphone. The system allows users to make payments through “reloads” made in authorized centers that are affiliated with the aló network:

Mangueras avz Macza (in Gravilias)

People only need to download the app Parso, select the canton, write the number demarcated in the parking lot, type their license plate number and select the parking time.

Municipal traffic inspectors have an electronic device that will control the parking meters, with user information and system data.

Gilberth Jiménez, mayor of Desamparados, commented that this collection method makes the process easier for users. This application currently operates in the canton of Montes de Oca as well.
