National franchises want to enter or expand their presence on Isthmus

Local franchises that want to expand their presence or venture into other Central American countries will attend Expofranquicias 2014 in Panama City, on the 11th and 12th of September.

Costa Rica has 233 franchises, of which 189 are international and 44 are national, representing sectors that include restaurants, education, and veterinary services. The legal framework for franchiseses include the Central American Common Market and a multilateral trade agreement between Central American nations, the United States and the Dominican Republic (CAFTA-DR).
