Cruel attack against a woman in Naranjo

March 10, 2017 by Staff News Writer

According to Carlos Hidalgo, a spokesman for the Ministry of Public Security, one day after Women’s Day, a woman was killed by her romantic partner in Palmitos de Naranjo, 250 meters from the cemetery of that canton of Alajuela.

Hidalgo said the aggressor had fathered two children with the victim.

One of the children witnessed the knife attack and sought help for his mother, but when the authorities arrived, it was too late. The woman was dead and the attacker was on the run.

The police began an operation to capture the subject.
