On Tuesday, Preserve Planet Organization will hold a free, open conference aiming to show Costa Ricans the impact of plastic pollution on our oceans.

The event will be held at the Roberto Sasso Sasso Auditorium from the Veritas University in Zapote.

This conference seeks to inform the authorities, the media and the general public about the urgency for all actors in the production and consumption cycle to become aware of the role they play. In addition, they will be able provide solutions that mitigate this environmental problem.

During the activity, national and international experts will comment on their experiences at a local, regional and global level. In addition, they will show the damage that plastic products are causing to water, fauna and flora in the seas.
