Exhibition of typical carts to celebrate the oxherd

Exhibition of typical, painted carts and explanation of the techniques are some of the activities planned in Cronos Plaza to celebrate the domestic oxherds during March.

The activities are held this week in this place located in Pinares de Curridabat, diagonal to Walmart, which is open from 8:00 a.m.

There will be an exhibition of carts, as well as decoration allusive to the activity. The exhibition of the famous painter of Sarchí, Isidro Madrigal, who in addition to showing his paintings alluding to this agricultural activity, will also be demonstrating the techniques that are used in his works,”

said Tatiana Arguedas, administrator of the establishment.

The activities that will be carried out are intended to support and keep alive a centuries-old tradition rooted in the peasant origins of the country.
