A woman was set on fire

March 29, 2017 by Staff News Writer

A 19-year-old woman was severely burned after someone set fire to the lot where she was hiding to avoid being a rape victim in Los Guido de Desamparados.

Apparently, the young woman is homeless and someone wanted to abuse her, so she got into the vacant lot and the perpetrator set her on fire.

The woman had severe burns in her stomach and limbs and was taken to San Juan de Dios Hospital by Red Cross officials. Her condition is delicate.

She didn’t have identification documents.
