More than 60 people demonstrated outside a travel agency

April 4, 2017 by Staff News Writer

A group of at least 60 people demonstrated outside an agency in San José, for a supposed breach of a trip they have scheduled for Easter.

Jorge Murillo stated that he arrived at 7:30 am to the establishment to consult for a Disney vacation package that he paid last year. Mr. Jorge’s wife tried to get in touch with the agency but far from solving the problem, the official was annoyed and she later texted her personal information that they had not provided.

Yesterday morning, the guard of the place gave a ticket to each of the affected ones and according to Murillo, they have only assisted 11 people.

Some have already been assisted and officials told them that they are going to refund them the money in a month, the other option is to change the date of the trip or to look for a different flight, but we have to pay 1000 more dollars per each person,

declared Murillo.

According to Murillo, all the affected people have commented and criticized the agency on its Facebook profile. However, all negative comments have been deleted.

Incredibly, the package offered by the agency was promoted in national media and through Facebook.
