Public Force catches fugitive with load of dubious jewels

April 4, 2017 by Staff News Writer

On Sunday night, a subject named Palma, who was a fugitive from justice, was caught with a load of jewels of dubious origin.

The 35-year-old man is a neighbor of León XIII and he was wanted since December 2016 for aggravated robbery, according to the case brought by the Criminal Court of the Second Judicial Circuit of San José.

This subject was surprised in the public highway by officers of the Public Force, who decided to intercept him when noticing he was very nervous.

Palma carried a great amount of earrings, chains, charms and gold and silver rings, all seemingly stolen from some Tibás jewelry.
