Man amputated by the train died yesterday

The man who was run over by the train at 5:40 a.m. this Monday died on Tuesday, as confirmed in the press office of the Calderón Guardia Hospital.

The victim entered the medical center at 6:15 a.m. in critical conditions and was immediately admitted to the operating room.

The subject lost a leg (initially it seemed he had lost both legs), and was being assessed by several doctor. However, his condition was very delicate, according to Rita Henry, a spokeswoman for the medical center.

The accident occurred in the neighborhood of El Progreso.
