The Uber case does not give truce to the country.
In the wake of recent violence, the Uber National Drivers’ Network announced on Monday that it will hold a 48-hour vigil to call the various public transport sectors to be peaceful.
The activity will be held in the Plaza de la Democracia, starting at 4:00 p.m. and, according to Allan ChavarrÃa, representative of Uber, it will extend until Sunday.
We ask for the support of the people who use the service,”
exhorted ChavarrÃa.
They will also take the opportunity to ask the President to drop the directive that he issued last Thursday, where he asked the State institutions to sanction those who provide the public transport service outside legality.
On the other hand, Uber is waiting for the resolution of the Constitutional Chamber before the appeal presented on August 10th at 11:00 p.m.
