Ferry hit the ramp in Paquera last night

Last night, the ferry service between Puntarenas and Paquera collided against the access ramp at the terminal at the latter point in the Gulf of Nicoya.

Due to the accident, vehicles and people traveling aboard cannot go up or down.

According to the first reports, only material damages are reported, there are no injuries.

The returning plans of people who decided to use the holiday for Mother’s Day were affected due to the inconvenience.

Public Safety added that the ferry is now returning to Puntarenas.
