Businessmen from Turkey to do business in Costa Rica

September 19, 2017 by Staff News Writer

Representatives of 16 Turkish companies from different areas will promote their products in Costa Rica on a Business Roundtable on September 27th.

In the food area, they will offer wheat flour, energizing juices, chocolates and pastries. There will also be cleaning products in general. They will exhibit different types of tools such as irrigation systems, galvanized wire, drills, and cutting machines.

Other important products will be textiles and household items, as well as various implements such as gas and electric kitchens, ovens of different types, lighting devices, platforms and devices for ferries.

In order to take advantage of the potential interest Costa Rican entrepreneurs have to access Turkey, they will offer marketing studies, supplier search services, and consulting services to enter the Turkish market.

Although diplomatic relations between Costa Rica and Turkey have been established since 1950, the truth is that up to now, 67 years later, this is the first trade mission of this country, which has borders in both Europe and Asia.

The event, to be held at the Intercontinental Hotel, was jointly organized with the Turkish embassy. The participation of representatives of more than 100 national companies is expected.

Turkey is an intercontinental country located in Asia and Europe that extends across the Anatolian and Thracian peninsula in the Balkans.

Due to its strategic position, the country influences the area between the European Union in the west and Central Asia in the east, Russia in the north and the Middle East in the south, so it has become increasingly strategic.
