3.9-degree quake shook the Central Valley

An earthquake shook the Central Valley on Wednesday night at 7:47 p.m.

The 3.9-magnitude earthquake had its epicenter 5 km northeast of Llano Grande, in Cartago, according to the National Seismological Network (RSN).

The first movements were felt in Cartago and San José sectors.
