Videos caught moment when bridge collapsed under the rains in Cartago

September 28, 2017 by Staff News Writer

Several videos that were shared in social networks captured the moment when the asphalt of a bridge collapsed on Thursday afternoon.

The incident happened in the province of Cartago, in the sector between Corralillo and Quebradilla.
The strong current caused by the rains this Thursday took over the structure, leaving the zones isolated.

This month, the province has been greatly affected by rainfall in the rainy season.
