PLN candidate keeps his presidential formula secret

October 3, 2017 by Staff News Writer

After the election of the candidates for legislators nine days ago, the next step for Antonio Álvarez is to define his vice presidents to complete the presidential formula he will present on the ballot on February 4th.

The liberationist prefers to keep the names of the people who will accompany him and he might release them in October in the assembly of celebration of the 66° anniversary of the National Liberation party, which has not yet a date, but it will be after October 12th.

Many of the political parties have already announced the presidential formula for the elections; however, this situation is not something that disturbs the candidate.

The election of his vice presidents must be equal, that is to say, the candidate must be accompanied by a man and a woman in the formula.

The election campaign will officially start on Wednesday, October 4th, when the Supreme Electoral Tribunal calls for the elections, which will be held on February 4th, 2018.
