Morales Zapata got JCB two meetings in Zapote

October 19, 2017 by Staff News Writer

The former Minister of the Presidency, Melvin Jiménez confessed -under oath- that former legislator of PAC, Víctor Morales Zapata was the one who got two meetings for Chinese cement importer Juan Carlos Bolaños in Presidential House.

The second meeting was announced by CRHoy.com months ago, when it was revealed that Bolaños went to the office of the former minister of Presidency where he was received by Morales Zapata, former Minister of Economy, Welmer Ramos, and the president of the National Emergency Commission, Ivan Brenes.

Morales Zapata organized this meeting at the request of several MPs of the PUSC and the Libertarian Movement, or so he says. However, this Thursday Jiménez came into contradictions and first he said it was Morales Zapata, and then he said that it was Bolaños himself who called and asked for it.

Jiménez announced that Morales Zapata organized another meeting for Bolaños a month earlier, on February 13th of the same year, at the request of Victor Morales.

Legislator Ronny Monge indicated that Morales Zapata entered Presidential House 117 times to meet with Jiménez in less than a year.
