OIJ detained two people accused of extorting U.S. businessman

Agents of the Judicial Investigation Organization (OIJ) arrested a 28 year old male and a 19 year old in San Jose, on suspicion of attempted blackmail of a United States citizen, aged 48. According to the police report, the pair had a business relationship with the American, which ended. They are accused of demanding $1,800 in cash before returning confidential business information. Judicial investigators made the arrest after the money was paid.
