Hacienda disconnects ATV tax platform for three days

December 21, 2017 by Staff News Writer

The Ministry of Finance informed that it will keep the Virtual Tax Administration (ATV) system disconnected during December 20th, 21th and 22nd. This also means payment for banking connectivity will be disabled.

The suspension of the service is done for maintenance reasons. Those who need to make tax returns can use files in Excel format in “offline” mode. These files can be downloaded on the website of the Ministry of Finance and presented at ATV from December 23rd, when the system is rehabilitated.

In case a taxpayer needs to pay a tax, they must make an official receipt of payment using form D-110, available in the electronic tool Eddi-7 (www.hacienda.go.cr, section “Most used services”) and pay it at the windows of authorized banks.

In addition, although tax administrations will receive requests for registration, de-registration or modification of data in the Tax Registry, their processing will take place as of January.

For inquiries on the subject, the General Directorate of Taxation users may call 2539-4000 extension 1, or send an email at infoyasistencia@hacienda.go.cr.
