The road works on the route of Circunvalación and the freeway General Cañas (San José-Alajuela) would be concluded on January 8th. These works are part of the work to revamp the route between La Uruca and Los Anonos in Escazú.
According to the Ministry of Public Works and Transportation (MOPT), the works will continue on January 4th.
These works, which have caused important traffic jams since they began, aim to recover the conditions of comfort and safety on the route, which is deteriorated, according to the authorities.
The total investment will be ¢ 3 billion.
