Dogs attacked runner in Heredia

January 8, 2018 by Staff News Writer

Luis Ramírez went out to run as usual on Sunday, in the Getsemaní sector of Heredia, without imagining that several dogs would attack him.

His son, Luis Olvado Ramírez, published the heartbreaking images on his Facebook profile, showing his father with several injuries to his legs and arms.

At the request of my dad I share the following images for all people who walk, run, or ride a bicycle. Be careful,”

wrote the man.

The attack occurred at about 6:30 a.m. on the way to Las Chorreras, when the owner of a house apparently left the gate open and his dogs escaped.

The publication was shared by more than 700 people and has hundreds of comments from people outraged by what happened, who criticize the owner’s carelessness and wish the injured person a swift recovery.
