Heredia will have 10 power stations

January 29, 2018 by Staff News Writer

The new Law of Incentives for the Public Transport was signed on Friday, and the Company of Public Services of Heredia (ESPH) is already prepared for the installation of 10 electrolineras (power stations).

Five of them will be found in the National Convention Center, while the others will be distributed throughout the province.

However, it is not the only proposal. They also plan to create a fast charging station, where drivers can use this technology to power their vehicle in less than half an hour.

In addition, the company intends to expand the electric stations and purchase electric vehicles to help improve the environment. The Public Services Company of Heredia was one of the promoters of the law that exempts electric vehicles from taxes.
