At 4:10 a.m. on Wednesday, a group of five hooded and armed individuals assaulted the Metropolitan Hospital, located in San José.
The Press Office of the Ministry of Public Security (MSP) reported that a doctor of the medical center told the police the individuals arrived armed, threatened officials and took several cash registers with cash.
So far the total amount of the stolen property is unknown.
The suspects fled in a blue vehicle and the case was handled by the Judicial Investigation Agency (OIJ).
