Patricia Mora: “Celso Gamboa disrespects us and scolds us”

February 28, 2018 by Staff News Writer

Don Celso Gamboa is disrespectful to come to the First Power of the Republic to scold us and demand that we don’t intervene because he is praises the division of powers.”

With these words, Patricia Mora, from Frente Amplio, reacted to the demand made by the suspended magistrate of the Third Chamber of the Supreme Court of Justice to refrain from commenting on the criminal case against him that takes place now.

In his speech before the Legislative Plenary to defend his immunity, Gamboa asked the legislators unrestricted respect for his rights and told them that he did not come to ask for leniency.

Mora questioned Gamboa for speaking about respect for the independence of powers while using the escort of another executive branch power and getting him into the judiciary.

I think the intervention of Don Celso and Don Rolando González has been very unfortunate . Now it turns out that everything has been a political ‘show’, that they talk to the public and that they are outraged. The citizens are outraged because they are stealing from the country, but not because of what we discovered,”

said Mora.
