Water service suspension will affect 91 thousand people in Alajuela this Thursday

April 18, 2018 by Staff News Writer

On Thursday there will be no water service for 12 hours in several communities of Alajuela. The Costa Rican Institute of Aqueducts and Sewers (AyA) reported that the reason behind the suspension is maintenance work in the electricity grid. The wells that supply El Pasito aqueduct will not operate.

The interruption will be from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and it will affect 91 thousand people.

The places where the water service will be suspended are: Alajuela Monserrat, Villa Bonita, San Antonio, El Roble, Montecillos, Barrio San José (partially), El Coyol (partially), El Coco and Rincón Herrera.
