Police operations closed three bars and got 120 people under investigation

Several inter-institutional operations that were carried out in San José Centro during the weekend in Avenidas 4, 6 and 8. As a result, six bars were inspected, three were closed down, 25 foreigners were interrogated, 15 migratory notifications were issued, and seven passports were confiscated. In addition, authorities confiscated two motorcycles, and got 120 people under investigation.

According to Marcelo Solano, director of the Municipal Police of San José, these were operations involving members of the Public Force, Migration Police, Fiscal Control Police and the Municipal Police of San José.

The chief noted that in the case of the bars, three of them were closed down for violating the operating regulations, including the health permit and operating hours.
