Credit offered for biodigesters

May 9, 2016 by Staff News Writer

Costa Rican company Viogaz and California-based organization, Kiva, are offering credits to develop small and medium biodigesters. This initiative is especially directed to producers with no access to traditional funding.

This plan is presented as a solution to dispose of farms’ daily waste, reduce smells and cut down greenhouse gas emissions. According to Jesus Jiménez, Viogaz’ small biodigesters program coordinator, the highest loan is up to $ 2,500.

Kiva is a non-profit organization that grants credits to small companies or entrepreneurs from developing countries through the Internet.

To access this funding, you have to contact Viogaz and request a technical and socio-economic diagnosis.
