Turrialba volcano erupted on Monday afternoon

At 2:31 p.m. on Monday there was an eruption in Turrialba volcano.

A gas column rose 500 meters above the height of the crater and 3840 meters above sea level.

The activity lasted four minutes.

The winds around the volcano blow towards the Northwest.
